During April 2018, the Data Management Conference returns to Calgary for the second year, hosting both local subject matter leaders and internationally known experts in the data field.
The 2018 Data Management Conference will again bring a diverse group of industry professionals and speakers together to explore Data Science, Business Analytics, the Internet of Things, Blockchain and Cryptography, Streaming Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security.
The Data Management Conference is an exciting three-day learning opportunity comprised of two days of industry expert speakers and one day of education-focused workshop and one pre-conference workshop featuring both lecture based and hands on learning opportunities on subject matter including methodology, professional certification, and software.
Over the course of the conference you will learn about new innovations in our field, methodologies and case studies using creative approaches to successfully solving complex problems.

While we have confirmed most of the speakers, these are always subject to change due to travel and personal situations resulting in last minute changes. Each of our speakers has been chosen specifically because they are locally or internationally recognized experts in their field.
For 2018, the theme we have chosen is applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques to complex data challenges.

- Certification Examinations - Pay if you pass, take up to 90 days after the conference to retake same or other examinations on a "zero-risk, pay-if-you-pass basis" - remote proctored tests using web-cameras and audio and government issued photo-ids, only if you were registered for the DMC conference or took at least one examination at the conference. (1pm-6pm)
